Meet the Founder
My name is Stephanie and I'm the Founder of Oxford Edu South Africa.
With 10 years’ experience in Higher Education, Career Guidance, and International Learning, I have dedicated my career to helping young people make confident, informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. For the past four years, I served as Head of Admissions at an award‑winning international summer school in Oxford.

During this time, I had the privilege of welcoming students from around the world - many of them from South Africa. Watching South African students thrive academically, grow personally, and return home inspired and empowered was one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

However, I saw a clear need - many South African families are unaware of the incredible opportunities available internationally. And for those who are aware, the process can feel overwhelming without the right guidance and trusted support. That is why Oxford Edu South Africa was created.

My mission is to bridge this gap by introducing South African students and families to world‑class international education opportunities, while providing personalised, honest guidance every step of the way. I believe that access to the right programmes can be truly life‑changing.

The programmes we offer allow students to:

-
Explore subjects they are genuinely interested in
-
Learn from expert Oxford University tutors
-
Gain clarity, confidence, and direction for their future career paths

Beyond academics, these experiences foster independence, maturity, and a renewed excitement for the future. Seeing students return home more confident, motivated, and optimistic - especially South African students - is something that continues to make me incredibly proud.

I only partner with programme providers that I 100% trust and believe in. The Oxford Summer School programme partner we work with is ranked as the #1 summer school in Europe. Having led both Student Experience and Admissions for four years, I have an in‑depth understanding of the organisation, its values, and its programmes - ensuring families receive guidance that is both informed and trustworthy.

Our Story
Oxford Edu South Africa is passionate about helping motivated, driven South African students between the ages of 14-18, who want to take their learning to the next level, experience international learning and get the edge for their future. Many students don’t know where to start when they’re looking for international programmes, so we introduce, support and guide students throughout this journey. We partner with award-winning international programmes that provide transformative educational pathways - building bridges to the future by empowering and equipping students with the knowledge and skills to navigate their own success.

The award-winning, international programme provider that we work with are accredited by the British Accreditation Council, has won multiple awards and is the top rated summer school in Europe.
Oxford Edu South Africa introduces students to the various international opportunities available, based on their specific needs and then we support families throughout their journey - whether it’s an in-person programme in Oxford, or an online programme.
Our Mission
To make global academic opportunities visible, understandable, and accessible to South African families - while prioritising student wellbeing, suitability, and long-term development.

In doing so, Oxford Edu South Africa commits to the following principles:

-
We will only recommend programmes we genuinely believe will benefit a student, academically and personally.
-
We will be honest when an opportunity is not the right fit, even if that means advising a family not to proceed.
-
We will never pressure students or parents to apply, enrol, or commit if they are unsure or not ready to proceed.
-
We will act ethically and transparently in all recommendations and partnerships.
-
We will prioritise student readiness, wellbeing, and long-term development over short-term outcomes or volume.
-
We will always provide guidance that is clear, realistic, supportive and ethical.

Our role is to introduce South African families to global opportunities, but also to help families make well-informed decisions with confidence.
